Home to the Biggest Skiing in America, Big Sky offers more than 5800 acres of terrain for skiers and snowboarders to explore. Lone Peak is known for its truly breathtaking scenery with the Lone Peak Tram taking guests to the top of the mountain where the views of the ski area and the Montana region are incredible. The terrain accessed from the top of Lone Peak is not for the faint hearted, as all are either black or double black runs here. The seemingly endless cruising blues are plentiful with hardly a soul to be seen. Connecting skiers and boarders with the great powder stashes of these uncrowded slopes quickly and in comfort is the ergonomically designed “Ramcharger 8” high speed eight person heated chairlift, which is one of the most technologically advanced lifts in the world and the first of its kind.
