About Snowmass, CO

Snowmass is the largest of the four Aspen region mountains. It has an excellent range of hotels and apartment properties, most of which are ski-in/ski-out. There are a good variety of restaurants and shops and the town of Aspen is just a short bus ride away. The terrain is fantastic and varied with some very long cruising runs on mid mountain and some really challenging areas on the upper mountain. The speedy Village Express makes getting from the base to the slopes quick and easy. The Sky Cab, a six passenger gondola, takes you from the base to the Snowmass Village Mall in just two minutes. The children’s specific Tree House Kids Adventure Centre is located right at the base of the Snowmass Ski Area and houses the children’s ski school with themed rooms, teen activities and kid’s retail, making the Adventure Centre a great place for children of all ages. Snowmass is now home to the Breathtaker Coaster, which winds through the trees and has a total ride time of almost ten minutes. Snowmass really is a wonderful place for families to stay.
