The first goal of the Steamboat Snowsports School instructors is to keep skiing fun! The second goal is no matter the skill level, the snow pros will help your child build confidence and improve their technique to help them reach the next level. Your child will be matched with others of the same ability level and age-appropriate groups.

Lesson times:

Half day 8:30am – 11:30am or 12:30pm – 3:30pm

Perfect introduction to skiing with a mix of childcare and a lesson

For the little ones, the Steamboat Snowsports School has developed a specific program where all-day child care is combined with time on skis and snow. This safe, fun and nurturing program is staffed with experienced professionals specialising in early childhood education as well as ski instruction.

Lesson times:

Buckaroos (2.5-3yrs): 9:00am – 3:00pm including lunch and up to 1 hour of skiing

Palominos (3-3.5yrs): 9:00am – 3:00pm including lunch and up to 1.5 hours of skiing

Mavericks (3.5-4yrs): 9:00am – 3:00pm including lunch and up to 2 hours of skiing

Sundance Kids (4-5yrs): 9:00am – 3:00pm including lunch and up to 4 hours of skiing
