The Andermatt region is considered one of the most snow-sure ski resorts in Switzerland, known for its dry powder and mostly north facing slopes. The village offers an ideal location for exploring with direct access to the Obleralp Pass and both ski areas. Free riders and lovers of steep slope descents fall for the Gemsstock, while intermediates and families find themselves in their element at the Nätschen and Sedrun resorts. The village offers a warm, traditional Swiss feel with a variety of dining experiences and facilities.
The resort is divided into two areas - Davos Platz and Davos Dorf. They are linked by the main street, which is lined with cafes, shops, boutiques and hotels. There are six main ski resorts spead out on either side of Davos including the famous Parsenn Davos Klosters. The resort has an excellent lift system and reliable snow conditions throughout its long season. The area is famous for having one of the longest runs in Europe and there is something for all winter sports enthusiasts: carvers, freeriders, snowboarders and those who want to take things just a little easier.
Engelberg is one of the largest and most beautiful ski regions in central Switzerland. The Benedictine Monastery and the impressive mountain panorama complement the quaint village centre where various stores and restaurants entice visitors to shop and relax in a pleasant atmosphere. Snow sports fans take advantage of Engelberg’s attractive selection of winter hiking routes, cross-country trails and alpine ski and snowboard areas. Make sure you check out the Big Five – from the world-famous Laub to the challenging Sulz, the mysterious Steintäli to the Steinberg and the long descent from Galtiberg – the Big Five ensure endless off-piste fun!
The hospitable mountain village of Grindelwald (1034 m) lies in the Berner Oberland - and acts as the stage for a wonderful drama. What's more, there are endless pistes and runs for skiers, snowboarders and sledgers in winter, a giant network of hiking trails in summer, and an almost infinite variety of leisure activities. There are countless ways to explore this fascinating mountain world, through sports and activities or by adopting a gentler, more relaxing approach. You can engage in extreme mountaineering, or simply enjoy the view... A particularly amazing experience is the trip to the Jungfraujoch, the `Top of Europe', at 3,454 m Europe's highest railway station right in the heart of the UNESCO world natural heritage site.

There are no cars allowed in the village, all transport is either by horse drawn sleigh or electric taxis. The skiing in Zermatt is varied with an even balance of gentle and difficult slopes. The breathtaking black runs offer exhilarating powder skiing and off-piste terrain, while the more gentle slopes are wide and groomed to perfection.
