About Telluride, CO

A charming old Victorian mining town in the scenic San Juan Mountains in southwest Colorado, Telluride is nestled among 14,000 foot peaks with miles of uncrowded slopes, no lift lines, unrivalled scenery and diverse terrain for true beginners to extreme, advanced skiers and snowboarders. This mountain offers some of the most spectacular skiing and riding in North America and is broken up into two areas, Telluride and Mountain Village, with the majority of hotels and condominiums within walking distance to the lifts and gondola. Telluride is a cosy, slope side town blending historic buildings and local watering holes with restaurants and locally owned shops, while Mountain Village is an alpine town offering ski-in/ski-out access, great restaurants and a fantastic village vibe. The two towns are linked by a free gondola, which runs from 7am until midnight, so no matter where you stay, you can enjoy the best of both worlds.
